Temporary/Seasonal Workers

Why Take This Course

The largest group of temporary workers is, without a doubt, the summer students. These young folks arrive at the worksite eager and ready to go, but they are missing one crucial piece. The widespread perception is that anyone can push a lawnmower or hold a weed trimmer—but can they do so safely and efficiently?

Temporary/seasonal workers are one of the most neglected groups when it comes to receiving professional training, but it’s a solid investment for many reasons. The argument is that they won’t be around that long, so why waste the time or money?

The big problem there is that a workplace accident only takes a split second to occur.

Compared to months of paperwork, lost time and serious injuries, the time required for proper training can be as little as a half day. So why take a chance? Part-time and seasonal employees need as much training as full-time and permanent ones. Who knows, they may just become one in the long run.
