Roadside Mower

Why Take This Course

This usually refers to a mower attachment pulled along behind a tractor and driven by the tractor’s PTO (power take-off), but it can also be attached to the primary unit of a sidewalk plow or other variations.

For all equipment types, it is vital that the operator be fully aware of the capabilities and limitations of their machine. Especially considering the extra attention required for safe operation while driving on the shoulders of roadways and along embankments.  A thorough training program that provides both theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on training is the best preparation an operator can have to operate this piece of equipment.

Proper training provides an awareness of the special safety considerations which stem from operating in tricky areas.
